Precision Temperature Control
50-segment PID auto-tuning controller with SCR phase-angle firing delivers ±1°C accuracy. Built-in overheating and thermocouple-break alarms ensure unattended safe operation around the clock.
A laboratory crucible furnace is a vertical-loading, high-temperature electric furnace designed to heat materials contained within a crucible — a refractory vessel capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. Unlike box-type muffle furnaces, the crucible furnace places the sample inside a dedicated crucible, making it ideal for melting, sintering, and calcining tasks where direct contact between the sample and heating elements must be avoided.
Brother Furnace's crucible furnace features a unique dual-layer ceramic fiber insulation chamber built around a high-purity quartz crucible. The Fe-Cr-Al-Mo wire heating elements are embedded directly in the insulation for maximum heat transfer efficiency, achieving a maximum temperature of 1200°C with outstanding uniformity of ±1°C accuracy and ±5°C uniformity across the working zone.
With a 50-segment PID programmable controller, dual cooling fans, and optional vacuum or inert gas atmosphere support, this furnace is built for both routine laboratory work and demanding research applications.
Every design decision is driven by performance, safety, and long-term reliability — so your research never stops.

A 1430°C inner board and 1260°C outer board create a highly efficient thermal barrier, minimizing heat loss and reducing energy consumption while maintaining superior temperature uniformity.
The standard high-purity quartz crucible minimizes contamination risks. Optional graphite or alumina crucibles are available for metal melting or highly corrosive material processing.
The sealed chamber supports inert gas (Ar, N₂) flow-through and optional vacuum operation, enabling oxide-free sintering, annealing under controlled atmospheres, and high-purity material synthesis.
Integrated dual-circuit protection with over-temperature alarm, automatic power cut-off when the door opens, and double cooling fans keeping the outer shell below 60°C for operator safety.
Chamber sizes range from Ø40×300mm to Ø240×220mm and can be fully customized. Optional PC software control, touch screen controller, and tilting mechanism are available to match your workflow.
From university labs to industrial R&D centers, our crucible furnaces power critical processes across multiple disciplines.

Answers to the most common questions our customers ask before selecting and ordering a vacuum sintering furnace.
The maximum temperature is 1700°C, achievable within 2 hours. The recommended continuous working temperature is 1600°C for extended operation to preserve heating element longevity.
Yes. The standard furnace supports inert gas (argon, nitrogen) flow-through for atmosphere-controlled processing. Vacuum capability is available as an option, making it suitable for oxide-sensitive materials and high-purity synthesis.
The furnace is suitable for ceramics, electronic components, chemical compounds, refractory materials, and low-melting-point metals including aluminum, zinc, tin, and copper. It supports sintering, annealing, roasting, calcining, and melting processes.
The standard crucible is high-purity quartz. Optional crucibles include graphite (for metal melting) and alumina (for high-purity or corrosive material processing). Please specify your application when requesting a quote so we can recommend the best option.
Yes. Optional PC software control is available, allowing you to set, monitor, and log temperature programs from your computer. A touch screen controller upgrade is also available for a more intuitive interface.
Absolutely. While we offer six standard chamber sizes from Ø40×300mm to Ø240×220mm, all dimensions can be customized to suit your specific sample size or production volume requirements. Contact us with your dimensions for a tailored solution.
All crucible furnaces come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, with lifetime technical support included. Consumable parts such as heating elements and crucibles are not covered under warranty but can be ordered as replacements at any time.
